Whatever happened to Thanksgiving?

It seems like as soon as Halloween is over, retailers start pushing Christmas down my throat.  Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.  I’m waiting at the airport right now for my flight to depart and can’t wait to get back to my hometown of Atlanta.  I like Thanksgiving because there’s no pressure to buy gifts- just show up and eat.

Well, I arrived safe and sound in Atlanta this morning at 5:30 Eastern time.  It sure is good to be back in Georgia and see my family again.  It was also good to see my little Honda XR100 again.  I couldn't get the thing to start, so I took a flat-blade screwdriver and drained the float bowl on the carburetor and it cranked right up.

ATV Rider will be at Durhamtown Plantation this weekend handing out free copies of our December issue, so come and see East Coast contributor Mike Newsom and I out in Union Point, GA.  www.durhamtownplantation.com

Happy Thanksgiving,
